This poll reflects the opinions of American History and AP American History students at Science Hill High School who were asked to list America's three best and three worse presidents.
It does not directly state my opinions (although I have no doubt that it does reflect at least some of them).
Multiple votes and joke votes were not counted, but votes for American presidents who were not presidents of the United States were (i.e. Jefferson Davis; Sam Houston or Arthur St. Clair would have been eligible, too). This was not part of my plan, but it has emerged from the results.
When a last name was given that could match more than one president, such as Johnson or Bush, it was assumed that it referred to the president by that name who had been studied most recently in class.
