377 - The humanoids of the Broken Lands assault Northern Darokin, Alfheim, Southern Glantri, and Rockhome.  I Great Goblin War begins.

379 - To more effectively fight the Goblins, the modern Provinces of the Northlands, the Midlands, and the Far Southlands, as well as parts of the Westlands and Rimlands unite into the Empire of Darokin under Corrithl the Mighty, thenceforth Corrithl I.

388 - The Goblins are driven back into the Broken Lands.  I Great Goblin War ends.

395 - Northern Alfheim (currently northwestern Rimlands) ceded to Darokin by the Elves who do not want and cannot defend the unforested region.

750-770 - II Great Goblin War.

early 800's - Darokin and Thyatis come into conflict over the use of the Imperial Highways for trade.

839 - Darokin declares war against Thyatis over unfair trade customs.

841 - Principalities of Glantri, hoping to gain the favour of Thyatis, declare war on Darokin.

844 - Kingdom of Traladara, seeing how the war is progressing, joins Darokin against Thyatis.

848 - Darokin and Traladara triumph.  Darokin takes the rest of what is now the Rimlands, Traladara conquers parts of western Thyatis.  Imperial Highways are now Darokain Imperial High Roads.

922 - Darokin begins to settle the islands of Ieriendi.

960 - Traladara, trapped between two large empires, intrigues with Thyatis to curtail Darokin's expansion.

961 - Darokin and Traladara go to war over the sinking of HIMS Fortitude, which was rudely blockading Marilinev's seaport.

965 - The Traladaran War ends, the mutinous crew of HIMS Owlbear marooned in Ieriendi.

1100 - III Great Goblin War begins.

1112 - I and IV Legions of the Glantriin Army revolt and disappear in Orcus Rex.

1119 - Thilingæriumnigorios, the mighty red dragon ravages Northern Darokin.

1122 - Thilingæriumnigorios slain by George Patton and Skander Lukvitch

1126 - Ieriendians begin a revolution against Darokain rule.

1127 - III Great Goblin War ends, Darokin claiming lands well into the current broken lands.

1128 - Udhgar founded by the remnants of I and IV Legions and lone Broken Landers.

1130 - Ieriendian revolution ends, colonials victorious.

1233-1237 - Red Atruaghins attempt to encroach upon the Far Southlands, are removed.

About 1300-1700 - A golden age of peace and prosperity reigns in Darokin.  Early in this period, the great Temple of Akor the Golden is built in Corunglain after the Great Fire of 1302 destroys the old temple.  During this time, Glantriin, Darokain, Traladaran, Lowlander, Halfling, Broken Lander, Thyatian, and Minrothadian all grow back into a common language, the Westron.

1770-1803 - IV Great Goblin War.  Unprepared, Darokin loses most of the new lands claimed after III GGW.

1812-1819 - Traladan Civil War.  Lowlands, Highshire, and Eastshire gain independence.

1907 - Lowlanders begin major raids on the Rimlands and Far Southlands mercantile traffic, Darokin begins reprisals.

1908-1914 - Lowlands war.  Darokin is triumphant, and there are now five provinces in the Empire.

2098 - V Great Goblin War begins.

2100 - Mendelus, a great black dragon poisons the Upper Streel, and the Goblins begin to show unprecedented organisation and tactical skill.

2108 - Forces from Udhgar slay Mendelus, but his son, Mendeleev begins to plague Alfheim.

2117 - Mendeleev slain by Elven warriors.

2118 - Ardel mines sacked.

2020 - Roryphoylmorgath, a red dragon burns Eastgate, a town where Ft. Nell now stands.

2123 - At the Battle of Moran-Til, a healing cleric of Akor calls upon the might of Akor to destroy Roryphoylmorgath and a great host of Goblins, including their mightiest witch-doctor.  The healer, Draik Thommasson, is assumed into Heaven, and becomes the new god of Darokin.  Darokin lays claim to much of the Broken Lands, and the Second Age of Man comes to a close.

213 - Peter Arsokos born in Akorros.

248 - Peter Arsokos overthrows the Count of Akesoli.

251 - The Westlands are assimilated into Darokin.

287 - Peter Arsokos dies.

309 - Reforms in the Church allow women to hold any position in the clergy.

348 - Lewis Wroth born in Corunglain.

354 - Peter Arsokos canonised.

366 - VI Great Goblin War begins.

374 - Darcophylax, a red dragon, allies with the Goblins, and begins troubling the Northlands.  Corunglain is invaded, but not held.

375 - Goblins driven back.

376 - Goblins resurge, but are defeated utterly by the paladin Sir Lewis Wroth channelling the power of Draik.  Lewis dies, and charges the Church with the creation of an order of Clerics to defend the land.  VI Great Goblin War ends.

384 - Brax Patton, a hero of the VI GGW begins construction of the "Patton Line," intended to keep the humanoids in the Broken Lands.  The Patton Line was never fully realised, but Fort Runnels, one of the first forts in the line, is founded in this year.

390 - Sir Lewis Wroth canonised.

408 - Angry over trade sanctions placed upon them in retaliation for inconsiderate contamination of the Streel River, the Principalities of Glantri declare war on the Empire of Darokin.

410 - Using the newly organised and highly trained Magic Corps, Glantri overruns much of the Northlands province.  Corunglain is held temporarily, Ardelphia is besieged for two years straight, and the Ardel mines are looted.  At this time, Caspar the Friendly Paladin takes refuge in a hidden sanctuary near the Ardel Mines.  During the defense of Tavaro, in which the Darokain forces were routed, His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor Rithmar VII is polymorphed into a large frog by a very powerful Glantriin wizard.  No-one has ever been able to turn him or his line back into humans.

417 - The Glantriin forces are driven back completely by a combined Darokain-Traladan force led by Prime Minister Thomas Renn.

419 - Glantri and Darokin make peace.

circa 420 - Prime Minister Thomas Renn organises the modern Republican government to take the place of the polymorphed emperor and the many nobles who fell in the defense of Darokin.  The first Republican senatorial election occurs.  Prime Minister Renn is retained in office.

426 - The first Prime Ministerial elections are held in Darokin.  Thomas Renn is elected for the first time by a direct and popular vote.

512 - The Lowlands Province revolts against Republican rule.  Their leader is a member of a cadet branch of the Streel family, Baron Donald Mac Streel.  Under his leadership, the Lowlanders adopt his crest as their banner, bearing a bonnie blue flag with a white star and saltaire into battle, and wearing blue and white Lowland bonnets as their insignia.

522 - The Lowlands Revolution is defeated, and sumptuary laws prohibit Streel Blue in the Lowlands.

590 - Dragons from the Broken Lands begin to raid the surrounding areas.

598 - The Days of Dragons.  In a five-day battle, human (to use the word loosely) forces defeat a band of horrible dragons, led by the vilest and greatest red dragon of all time, Ralph, who was slain by Grif Tarkin with the mighty blade Corisbale.  Also prominent in those days were Brax Patton, King Fllewdyr of the Elves, Sergei Tiskovitch of Glantri, and a golden dragon named Lynthax.  The Clerical cap of maintenance is phased out at this time.

599 - Randolph Smythe born in the Rimlands province.

620-621 - Traladan Duke's Road connected to the Republican High Road in the Rimlands.

629 - Randolph Smythe converts the Marquess of Kelvin to Draikism.  Kelvin-in-the-Moor and Lord Kelvin's other lands declared anthrodikt by the local werewolves.

circa 630 - Malpheg, Morphung, Mildrex born in Tavaro?

644 - Randolph Smythe performs the Miracle of the Oak Leaves and is treacherously slain by a deluded follower of Ravenna, who had just shown her bequest of Tralada to Draik.

678 - Randolph Smythe canonised in Tralada.

circa 700 - Malpheg begins to stir up trouble in the Malpheggi Swamp, which seems to expand after he settles there and it takes his name.  Morphung worship is apparently introduced to Darokin at this time.

720 - Varina Renny born in Darokin City.

736 - Varina Renny marries Thomas Elstre.  They ultimately have thirteen children.

750 - Venerated Randolph officially canonised.

755 - VII Great Goblin War breaks out.

757 - The Great Plague begins.  The Grain Famine begins.

758 - Darokin Civil War begins, as farmers fight to keep what grain they have for their plague-stricken families, whereas the Army needs it to fight the Goblins.  The Plague takes two of Varina's children.

759 - Fort Nell built as a part of the Patton Line and named after Senator Nell who organised the deal with the Elves to supply the Army with grain. This is why Ft. Nell's gate faces east into Alfheim -- it is to defend itself against Darokain rebels and to easily receive Elven grain shipments.

761 - Thomas Elstre falls in the Goblin War.  Another of Varina's children dies in the Plague.

762 - Varina Renny Elstre begins massive healing among her husband's old regiment.

764 - Varina Elstre supposedly slays a Vampire-cleric of Morphung through the power of her faith.

765 - Grain Famine and Civil War end.

766 - In order to effect a mass healing and defeat through her piety a host of Malpheg's monstrosities, Varina overextends herself and is assumed into Heaven.

767 - Great Goblin War ends.

769 - Great Plague subsides.

788 - The Accords of 788 give the Order of St. Lewis minor access to the sphere of War and all priests minor access to the sphere of Law.

790 - Varina Renny Elstre canonised.

792 - Prime Minster Brax Cor orders that the Book of Draik, the Orders of Draik, the Lives of the Saints, the Edicts of Draik, and other principal religious works be condensed into a series of small, easily read books.

810 - Lothar Roginoff born in Les Hiboux, Glantri.

822 - Streel Blue is again legalised in the Lowlands.

834 - Lothar Roginoff contracts the Red Death, and is cured by a Cleric of St. Varina.  He converts to Draikism.

842 - Lothar Roginoff disappears while evangelizing in Boldavia.

843 - Lothar Roginoff dies/commits suicide/is executed/becomes a Vampire/officially becomes deceased.

889 - Far Southlands placed under partial military supervision for defense against the creatures of the Swamps.

900 - Lothar Roginoff becomes Venerated by the Glantriin Draikain Church.

971 - A band of Morphung worshipers co-operating with a group of gnolls and ogres attacks Ardelphia, but is driven off.

1102 - Elizabeth von Soderfjord born an only child.

1119 - Elizabeth marries Huber von Sortfeld.

1124 - Elizabeth's father dies, and she becomes Jarlin und Markgrafin von Soderfjord.

1137 - Elizabeth is converted to Draikism.

1139 - VIII Great Goblin War begins.

1152 - VIII Great Goblin War ends with the Battle of Cruth.  The hero is General Nielson, who defeated the Ogre Cruth in single combat using the ancient blade Corisbale.

1162 - Elizabeth channels Draik's might to destroy an invading Ostlander fleet.

1163 - Elizabeth makes Draikism the official religion of the Soderfjord Jarldoms.

1169 - Elizabeth von Soderfjord dies.

1172-1178 - Nickolai Siefers leads organised crime in Fort Nell, and eventually attempts to take over the Fort.  Much of the south-eastern part of the town is badly damaged.  Siefers is eventually captured and executed.

1263 - Ardelphia is betrayed by agents of Morphung in the city guard, and the second oldest city in the Northlands falls.

1275 - Phylodraxis, a green dragon, destroys Black Watch with his mate, Xylophyllis.  Some Elves flee to Darokin.

1303 - Far Southlands placed under full Martial Law.

1351 - Lamar MacLewis born in Hendry.

1356 - An ugly baby is found on the steps of The Old Church in Fort Nell.  He is named Lewis and raised by the Church.

1357 - Wrathgar is born in Fort Nell.

1362 - Cecil is born in Fort Nell.

1363 - Duma Ruhiel is born in Ansimont.

1368 - Elstrich made Military Capital of the Far Southlands.  Mihr the Dire Wolf is born in the Imperial Zoological Gardens and adopted by Duma Ruhiel.

1370 - Sir Lamar MacLewis leads the troops that slay the black dragon Milvane.

1374 - Battling a Vampire Bishop of Morphung, Sir Lamar MacLewis is slain.  Afterwards, his body is recovered, but burnt.

1379 - Wiglaf Peterson, Pastor of Fort Runnels, is kidnapped.  The previously benign copper dragon Cro-us begins to ravage the lands around Udhgar, but is made to revert to goodness by Lewis, Wrathgar, and associates.  Pastor Wiglaf Peterson rescued from Morphung-worshipers in Ardelphia.  Battle of Kol B'yyah decimates Clan Kol B'yyah and makes Clan Kov B'yiah foremost among Kobolds on the borders of the Northlands.  Chief Grr B'yirr gives 'Kol B'yyah Address.'  Randolph Thoroughgood and Amanda McFarlin are married in Ft. Nell.  People begin to mysteriously disappear or be brutally murdered in Corunglain.  Caspar the Friendly Paladin's ghost is laid to rest.  The old sanctuary by the Ardel Mines is renamed Ft. Caspar in his honour.

1380 - The murders in Corunglain are proven to be caused by a group of werewolves living in a fortress in the Broken Lands.  Wrathgar the Explosive charged with the murder of Thomas McFarlin, but pardoned by Governor Cormor the Sly.  The Streel River floods, severely damaging Corunglain, Tavaro, and other riverside cities, including Darokin City.  The trade route between Fort Nell and Alfheim City is harassed by green dragon attacks.  Wrathgar the Explosive, Lewis, Cecil, Gyl and Duma Ruhiel defeat two green dragons, Canoldarcor of Blackwatch and Darcophylax the Green.  Lewis, Cecil, Duma Ruhiel, and Celadan Watchwood overthrow Tully, an important Morphungite governor within the Malpheggi Swamp, briefly reducing incursions into Darokin-controlled parts of the Far Southlands.  Wrathgar the Explosive, Lewis, Cecil, and Duma Ruhiel defeat the green dragons Phylodraxis and Xylophyllis in Alheim.

1380 - A great Synod of the Church of Draik is held in Fort Nell at the Cathedral of Saint Lewis.
